There are enough differences between this program and Rufz to make it a worthwhile addition to one's speed practice and competitive fun. A score is calculated, and may be instantly uploaded to the CW FReak dot NET lists for monthly, yearly, and all-time competition. If the user is good enough to copy 25 call signs without error, he/she has reached a speed of 73 wpm, and the program continues until an error is made. When an error is made, the speed is reduced for the next call sign- the speed decrement is determined by how many characters were missed. In Competition mode, 25 call signs are presented to the user, beginning at 25 wpm and incrementing in steps of 2 wpm until an error is made. Speeds in the practice modes can be as low as 5 wpm. ![]() Practice A sends call signs at a single speed setup by the user Practice B will increment or decrement speed in user selected steps according to performance. The program contains three modes: Practice A, Practice B, and Competition. ![]() It is similar to RufzXP in that randomly selected call signs are presented to the user for copying practice or competition. ![]() CW Freak dot NET is a code speed training program developed by JI0VWL.
